List your firm in the directory
A listing is free and stays free. Verified is the paid tier, it costs $300 CAD a month, and this page says exactly what it does and does not buy.
If your firm does security or compliance work for Canadian companies, you can be in this directory. Claiming a listing costs nothing, keeps costing nothing, and gets you matched enquiries from people who came here looking for exactly the work you sell.
There is also a paid tier. We would rather tell you what it costs on the page you are already reading than make you write in and ask, so: Verified is $300 CAD a month, or $3,000 CAD a year. What that buys is set out below, and so is what it does not.
The two tiers
| What you get | Free listing | Verified |
|---|---|---|
| Appears in the directory | Yes | Yes |
| Appears on every network site your services match | Yes | Yes |
| You edit your own listing, permanently | Yes | Yes |
| Description shown | One line, 300 characters | Full profile |
| Verified badge | No | Yes |
| Placement | Below the Verified tier | Above the free tier |
| Lower-intent enquiries | Sent to you, no charge | Sent to you, no charge |
| Higher-intent enquiries | Offered at $50 CAD each | Sent in full, no charge |
| Cost | $0 | $300 CAD/month or $3,000 CAD/year |
The per-lead charge on the free tier is the part firms ask about most. A lower-intent enquiry, somebody working out what they need in twelve months time, reaches you at no cost. A higher-intent one, somebody whose deal is blocked and who has picked a timeline, is offered to you for $50 CAD and you decide one at a time whether it is worth it. Verified removes that decision.
What Verified does not buy
This matters more than the feature list, because it is where most directories quietly sell something they should not.
Not for sale, at any price
Order within the Verified tier. Verified firms sit above free ones, and within each tier the order is fixed and is not something you can pay to change.
What we write about your firm, your service category, or your framework coverage. You write your own description. We do not write a recommendation and then sell it to you.
A place in editorial content. Nothing on the guides, cost pages or comparison pages on any of these six sites is influenced by whether a firm pays us. If a page says a platform is not worth it under thirty people, that sentence does not change because someone bought a listing.
What verification actually checks
The badge is worth something only if it means something, so it is a real check rather than a payment confirmation. Before a listing goes Verified we confirm three things.
- The firm exists as a business. A registered entity, a working website at the domain on the listing, and a physical address.
- It does the work the listing claims. If a listing says SOC 2 audits, we look for evidence the firm performs attestation engagements rather than readiness consulting sold under an audit heading. Those are different products and buyers confuse them constantly.
- The credentials on the listing are real. CPA firm registration for audit work, current certifications where a listing cites them, and licensing where the province requires it.
If we cannot confirm those, the money goes back and the listing stays free. We would rather refund a firm than put a badge on a claim we could not check. Verification is redone annually, and you get a reminder before it comes due.
How you get enquiries
Somebody fills in the quote form or one of the calculators on one of the six sites. The request is scored on how ready to buy it looks, which is mostly timeline, company size and whether they used a tool rather than the bare form. TrazTech reads it first, because TrazTech is one of the firms in this directory and we say so on every page rather than hiding it.
Two hours later it routes automatically to the firms whose services match what the person asked for. You are matched on the services you tick on your own listing, so a firm that sells penetration testing appears on the pentest site without anybody deciding it should.
You control the mail
Every enquiry email carries an unsubscribe link that stops automated mail to your firm without removing your listing. Lead addresses are locked to your own domain, so a claimed listing cannot be redirected to send your enquiries somewhere else.
Claim or add your firm
One form for both. If your firm is already listed, this claims it. If it is not, this adds it. Either way you get a link that lets you edit the listing yourself from then on, with no account and no password.
Use an address at your firm's own domain. That is the whole of the security here: the confirmation link can only ever land in a mailbox at the company the listing points at, which is what stops anybody claiming a competitor.
Check your email
We have sent a confirmation link to the address you gave. It is good for 48 hours.
Opening it confirms the claim and gives you a permanent editing link for the listing. That link does not expire, so a firm coming back in eight months does not have to start a support conversation to change a phone number.
If it does not arrive, check the spam folder first, then write to [email protected].
Common questions
How much does it cost to be listed?
Nothing. A free listing is a real listing: you are in the directory, you can edit it yourself, and you receive matched enquiries. The Verified tier is the paid one, at $300 CAD a month or $3,000 CAD a year, and it is optional.
Can I pay to rank higher in the directory?
No. Verified listings sit above free ones, and that is the only ordering effect money has. Within each tier the order is fixed and there is nothing to buy.
Why is my firm listed when I never asked to be?
The directory includes firms we found doing this work in Canada, listed from public information. Claim it with the form above and it becomes yours to edit, or write to [email protected] and we will remove it. We remove a listing on request without argument.
Do I have to pay for the enquiries I receive?
Not for the lower-intent ones, which are sent to every matched firm at no charge. Higher-intent enquiries are offered to free listings for $50 CAD each, and you choose per enquiry. Verified listings receive both at no additional charge.
Can I stop the emails without losing the listing?
Yes. Every enquiry email has an unsubscribe link that turns off automated mail to your firm and leaves the listing visible. There is a resubscribe link if you change your mind.
Is TrazTech competing with the firms it lists?
Yes, and we would rather say so plainly. TrazTech Inc. operates these six sites and also does security and compliance work, so it appears in the directory like any other firm and sees enquiries first. Every page that matters says this, including the quote form itself.
How do I cancel Verified?
From the billing portal linked at the foot of your listing editor. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and the listing then returns to the free tier rather than being deleted.
